HVAC Experience: 3 years (Required)

Our Refrigeration and Food Service Technicians service, maintain, and repair commercial equipment. We are searching for individuals well-versed in customer service that have the ability to provide our customers with maintenance, service, and repair of their refrigeration equipment by diagnosing issues and troubleshooting. Job consists of situations that can be physically demanding.

Essential Duties:

  • Services, maintains and repairs hot side equipment and cold side equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Service & maintain refrigeration systems such as: reach-in refrigeration, walk-in refrigeration, commercial ice machines
  • Service & maintain hot side food service equipment such as: ovens/ranges, fryers, steamers, dish machines, grilles, exhaust fans, etc.
  • Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in commercial food service equipment and refrigeration systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
  • Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring; services systems or components; repairs or replaces worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
  • Inspects and tests systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions; inspect systems to determine if they are operating properly.
  • Adjusts system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance system; adjusts equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Properly completes all paperwork required for each job.
  • Operates company vehicle; maintains cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
  • Ability to service commercial refrigeration systems for reach in equipment, walk in refrigeration systems, & commercial ice machines
  • Ability to service commercial kitchen exhaust and make-up air systems
  • Ability to service commercial dish machines
  • Ability to service food service equipment such as: fryers, ovens, grills, & broilers
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of company practices, procedures, machines, and equipment.
  • Ability to interface professionally with customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Trade School degree or certificate preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 Year of experience in HVAC/R installation & service
  • EPA Certification
  • Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
